WELCOME to our beautiful Saint Martin de Porres Parish School and family! We are committed to the highest quality education for our children, rooted and centered in the traditions and values of our Catholic faith, thus affording them the very best Catholic School education and experience.  The culmination of your child’s Catholic School education is participating in the Eucharist with their family on the Lord’s Day. It is the source and summit our Catholic faith – everything we do flows from and is directed to our union with the Heart of Jesus in the Eucharist.

Qualifications for Active Parishioner Rate

Families who are Registered members of Saint Martin de Porres Parish, who attend Sunday Mass every week (or Saturday evening), and use their envelopes for church contributions. A minimum contribution of $800.00 per year between January and December that is given through use of the Sunday envelopes at Mass each week is required to qualify for Active Parishioner Status. Please note that this is a minimum contribution. It is the obligation of every Catholic to support their Parish with a sacrificial donation according to their means and to attend Mass every Sunday (or Saturday evening) and on Holy Days of Obligation.  Accordingly, LUMP SUM CONTRIBUTIONS OR CONTRIBUTIONS WITHOUT WEEKLY MASS ATTENDANCE DO NOT meet the requirements for Active Parishioner Status.

Since tuition covers less than 80% of the cost of educating a child, the rest is made up with fund raising and support from the Parish. Our Parish is one body, Church and School. The basis for the reduced tuition rate for Active Parishioners is that they are supporting our Parish which in turns supports our school. Without the support of the Parish and the tremendous fund raising of our PSA, tuition for all would be much higher. Hence, any family not meeting the criteria for Active Parishioner Tuition Rate will be moved to the Standard Tuition Rate. Records of Sunday Mass attendance and contributions are reviewed regularly through the envelope system.
